File consists of a copy of a book—History, the School for Nurses, Toronto General Hospital: commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of its establishment, 1881-1931, edited by Margaret Isabel Lawrence—with the name “Alma Elizabeth Reid” embossed on the cover, likely given to Vicky Bach by Alma Reid. File includes an album related to a 1932 graduating class of nurses containing photographs and a forty-year reunion poem, likely given to Vicky by either Evelyn Hahn or Marjorie Parsons. File also includes a test on the subject of hygiene that was used at Toronto General Hospital School of Nursing on November 25, 1922, likely given to Vicky by one of the interviewees.

File also includes a thesis to-do list compiled by Vicky during the drafting of her thesis proposal, her thesis proposal and a separate document containing its title page and table of contents, her Research Ethics Board application, two letters of introduction that she distributed to potential interviewees—one for patients and one for nurses—and a photograph of Vicky at McMaster on the day of her thesis defense.
