Fonds consists of records documenting Dr. Roland’s activities as a medical historian. The bulk of the material was created or collected by Dr. Roland while he was McMaster’s Hannah Chair. Included are oral history transcripts, audio cassettes, correspondence, photographs, prints, maps, patient records, translated documents, memoirs, play scripts, diaries and one artifact.

The collection consists of records collected by Blanche Chudyk and Jeanette Joyce Houghton from fellow classmates, that document the activities of the Hamilton General Hospital (HGH) School of Nursing (SoN) Class of 1946B, and includes photographs, news clippings, publications, documents, correspondence, program guides and brochures.

Fonds consists of records documenting David Sackett’s personal and professional activities. Included is correspondence, photographs, video tapes, reports, manuscripts, notes, press clippings and publications relating to Dr. Sackett’s career as the founding chair and professor of the first department of clinical epidemiology in Canada at McMaster University, the founder of the Oxford Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine, and an educator and clinical scientist who was committed to the development of health care research method and clinical practice. Also included are records relating to McMaster’s Faculty of Health Sciences and the Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics (CE&B), including reports, brochures, newsletters, flyers, and photographs documenting organizational development, events and activities.

Fonds consists of records documenting Edward James Moran Campbell's professional and personal activities, predominately from 1968-1991 while employed by McMaster University (Hamilton, Ontario). Included is correspondence, agendas, minutes, letters, reports, proposals, articles, papers, postcards, draft manuscripts and chapters, handwritten material, re-prints, notes, notices, newspaper clippings, memos, photographs (print and digital), booklets, documents, a poem, a magazine, and a drawing. Records primarily reflect activities that cover the development and growth of the McMaster University Department of Medicine; the creation process of the book "Not Always on the Level" published in 1988; and general writing endeavors.

Fonds consists of records relating to Francis Chisholm's educational and professional activities as a minister while employed at Chedoke Hospital (formerly Mountain Sanatorium) from 1964-1991, as well as a small amount of material pertaining to Chisholms services at the Hamilton Psychiatric Hospital as well as the Hamilton General Hospital from 1988-2000. Included is brochures, correspondence, invitations, leaflets, meeting minutes, newspaper clippings, pamphlets, photographs, reports, sermon notes, a business card, a certificate, and a proposal document. Records cover such topics as pastoral care and services, chapel inductions and operations, pastoral training, and includes material related to the topic of spiritual care for patients afflicted with tuberculosis.
