The collection consists of records collected by Blanche Chudyk and Jeanette Joyce Houghton from fellow classmates, that document the activities of the Hamilton General Hospital (HGH) School of Nursing (SoN) Class of 1946B, and includes photographs, news clippings, publications, documents, correspondence, program guides and brochures.

Fonds consists of records relating to Francis Chisholm's educational and professional activities as a minister while employed at Chedoke Hospital (formerly Mountain Sanatorium) from 1964-1991, as well as a small amount of material pertaining to Chisholms services at the Hamilton Psychiatric Hospital as well as the Hamilton General Hospital from 1988-2000. Included is brochures, correspondence, invitations, leaflets, meeting minutes, newspaper clippings, pamphlets, photographs, reports, sermon notes, a business card, a certificate, and a proposal document. Records cover such topics as pastoral care and services, chapel inductions and operations, pastoral training, and includes material related to the topic of spiritual care for patients afflicted with tuberculosis.

File consists of a memo from Allison, J.C. announcing that the Canadian Council on Hospital Accreditation has accredited the Hamilton Health Association. Included with the memo is an attached note that includes recommendations and comments on various hospital activities.

File consists of a planning report titled "The Development Plan of the Hamilton Health Association" created in 1969. The planning report details the history and charter of the Hamilton Health Association, present facilities and programs, role and objectives, and development plans and schedules for service programs.
