Scope and content
Series consists primarily of textual records collected by Mary Tremblay in support of her research and teaching activities, focusing on publications by organizations that were involved with the disabled, government disability policy, and rehabilitation in the aftermath of the First and Second World Wars. Collected records are international in scope, with material from Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America. A large bulk of textual records was collected by Mary Tremblay as reference for an eventual study comparing international organizations and government policies involving war blinded veterans. Included are reports, journals (photocopied and original), booklets and books (photocopied and original), newsletters (original and photocopied), articles (original and photocopied), magazines, a letter, and a photocopied thesis. Also included is a replica Victoria Cross commendation award, and a poster.
