Topics include: seven-year hospitalization and institutional attitudes; early rehab at Lyndhurst Lodge; securing his first wheelchair and hand-controlled car; freelance writing and editorship of Caliper; advocacy for positive media images of disability; community living at the Toronto YMCA; marriage to actress Laddie Dennis; and self-designed home accessibility.
